Mortgage Checklist

The following information is usually required during the loan process:
 

Identity and Income Verification:

  • Full Name, Social Security Number, and Birthdate
  • Phone number, email address, and current residential mailing address for the last two years.
  • Primary and secondary income sources
  • Name, Addresses, and Phone numbers of all employers for the last 2 years.
  • Address of property being purchased, year built, estimated down payment amount, and purchase price.
  • Estimates of any annual property taxes, homeowners insurance, and any homeowner association dues.
  • DD214 (If applicable).

Income/Tax Documents:

  • Pay stubs covering the last 30 days
  • W-2's for the past two years.
  • Bank Statements - Most recent two months' statements.
  • Federal Tax Returns - Last two years (if self employed or own other real estate).

Other:

  • Current Mortgage Statements - all properties owned.
  • Homeowners Declaration Page - all properties owned.
  • Purchase contract - signed by all parties (if applicable).

If Self Employed:

  • Federal Tax Returns (personal and business) - All schedules for the past two years.
  • Profit and Loss Statement - (Year to Date)
  • Balance Sheet
